PayTile — Designing Privacy-First Proximity Payments

PayTile is a proximity payments platform — designed and shipped natively across iOS, Android, and Web. I led product design and the full design system. The core problem was one nobody in the payments space had solved — letting two people nearby exchange money without either person handing over a phone number, contact, or any personal information. The result: improvement in privacy comfort and 94% task completion.

Sydney Health is the mobile app for Blue Cross Blue Shield members. Before this project, getting help meant leaving the app, calling a number, and waiting 12 minutes on hold. I designed live chat end to end — from research through to shipping on iOS and Android. The result was 50K+ interactions in the first six months, 35% reduction in churn, and customer service costs cut significantly without adding headcount.
